A Kansas native, Brenda majored in business administration with a minor in economics at Wichita State University. She continued to attend Washburn School of Law, and after graduation was admitted to the Kansas Bar to practice law in September 1994.
She began her career in the Riley County Attorney's office as a prosecutor but switched to criminal defense and family practice in 2005. After two years with the public defender's office, she opened her own law firm.

Over 20 Years of Experience
Brenda can represent clients in any Kansas court and even in the U.S. Supreme Court, and she is eligible to serve as a guardian ad litem for children. She is active in her community, serving on the ATA Bus Board of Directors and the Riley County Fair Board.
